Isn't that hilarious? And why can't I be good at winning the lottery instead of selling cars?
It's happened several times. I had a Volvo in high school that was the bomb - a 240DL that I absolutely loved (I took my first ever loan out to pay for that car!). Unfortunately I smashed that awesome set of wheels into a pole trying to act like a secret agent, and it spent a month in the shop (sad). After it came out, I had to sell it because I couldn't afford the insurance - and I sold it for $500 more than I paid for it, which wasn't much. It took two days.
I did again with a Subaru Forester in 2009, except I made $3,000 off of that car. And just last year, I sold my Audi wagon for $1,800 more than I paid for it. Both cars took three days to sell. I don't think I have a real talent in car sales, so it must be luck. Or do I? What if I am destined to be a car saleswoman and I don't even know it? I doubt it.
