I am an elem art teacher in Madison, WI. I need a picture keeper to keep tabs on all my lesson plans and examples that I've gathered through teaching. Right now they are all on my personal computer with no back up. I can't afford my own picture keeper and memory sticks. Too many pictures for the size I need!
I need this because the video card on my laptop died just last month. Luckily they were able to save my pics and docs. Not taking another chance!

I need a picture keeper because I'm obsessed with taking pictures! I also need a secure place to store them. My first digital camera was loaned to a close friend (like 8 years ago) and I didn't have the pictures backed up and my camera came back without pictures of my grandpa. That was his last visit where he was mostly healthy and looking like himself :(

I have a 3 month old and have been taking about 200 pics a week, no joke. Last year my dads house burnt down and ever since I have been backing up on flashs but thats getting expensive as they don't hold nearly enough.

With 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and 4 kids, you bet I take a lot of pictures. The last time we bought a new computer, my husband tried to save all my pics to cds and I still can't find my daughter's confirmation pictures. She's now 21! Add to these all the shots I take at church and school and the Picture Keeper becomes a necessity. What a great product!
Oh, it would be ideal for backup! I could back up a lot of my most important photos, and keep it in my tiny fire-proof safe, just in case!

I so need Picture Keeper. On Friday, my Memory Manager, Creative Memories software, somehow lost my main picture file. I noticed that there was an update from CM and then realized that the vault I had open got lost. I had to recover it, but nothing is in order. I am so frustrated but mostly sad. I need a better way so that I don't lose any of my 18,500 plus pictures any more. So, I think Picture Keeper may work for me. Thanks for the chance to win.

Wow! What a handy little technology tool. I'd like to have the PictureKeeper because it'd be a perfect gift for my mom-- she's recently started relying on her flash drive to hold all of her photos, but it's so hard to organize them and find them later. Over the last couple years I have taken up photography as a hobby, and lately have been getting more serious about my studying and photo shoots. To date I have 35,558 pics on my iphoto program. Just yesterday we had a bit of a glitch with our computer and had challenges getting it up and going. Needless to say it gave me a heart attack to think I might have lost all those photos, especially the ones of my sisters wedding that I shot last weekend. I need a picture keeper because... my laptops hate me and continue to conk out. So I have cds upon cds of pictures from years past, mixed with other stuff. I've tried to organize everything.. but like you said, memory sticks don't hold that many!
This would be perfect since we're moving/driving across Canada in about a month.. those pictures would be ideal for the first ones to put on this! :P

I dropped my laptop the other week. Lost everything. Luckily had uploaded all photos of our son to Shutterfly the night before but lost EVERYTHING else on my laptop and have NO backups of anything for the past 6mos. 'nuf said but "DUH" on my part.

I so need one (or several!) I have three boys - oldest is 7. Recently I had an external hard drive fail. Yes, I cried.
I do have mine saved on Kodak gallery though, but not having just one more backup at home means I don't 'have' them WITH me.

And a few years ago, hubby backed up all our photos on an external hard-drive, but then *wasn't thinking*, and deleted the originals off the computer. And in our move, that external hard-drive fried, and we lost EVERY.SINGLE.PHOTO from the first 2 years of our marriage. :-( Yeah, I bawled. A lot.

Why do I need a picture keeper... well, get out your tissues...
I've had my hard drive fail THREE times. Yup, all in less than 3 months. The first time, a friend was able to recover 99% of everything. I decided I'd learned my lesson, and started backing up my data onto a big external hard drive. But, it is big & bulky, and I didn't do it often enough... the second time my hard drive failed, I lost some recent photos. Family photos.
The third time happened so quickly I didn't have a chance to even put new pictures on the computer. So, I was lucky there.
I now have a new computer (yay!) and would love a snazzy new way to store my photos!
I need a Picture Keeper because I have probably a bazillion pictures on several different computers, a couple of which are super old and will die any day now. I have put some pictures on memory sticks, but sometimes I lose them. Oops.
