I really can't believe that this is Kim's first Mod Podge project. She's definitely got the mojo - as you can see from this buffet revamp found on her blog Savvy Southern Style. I will tell you that she used fabric and some fun glazing to get the effect you see. It really puts my Mod Podge furniture re-dos to shame, it's so gorgeous. Visit Kim here so that you can see some of her close-up pictures and tell her how much you love this piece.
PS - I recently did a review of the book Sew Retro for Craft Critique. Visit here to read it.

Amy, thanks so much for featuring this project. I didn't know you are in Atlanta. Have a good day!
My friend has this identical buffet; it was given to her following Hurricane Katrina (it had a wonky drawer and a few small issues, but it looked fine and served her needs for storage). It was not an expensive piece of furniture originally, but done up this way, it has a great, upscale look! I HAVE to forward this to her!
Hey I just came over from SSStyle. So glad I found this blog. It will be a great inspiration for me. Lots of tips too I like that, Thanks.
