You probably know by now that Halloween is my favorite holiday - and Halloween requires glitter. That's just my opinion, but if you share it, you're going to like what I have to share. I've been blogging for Art Glitter twice a month since June, and this past Thursday I did my last post. It was bittersweet, because everything must end and yet I've really enjoyed my glittering adventures. I'm not a natural glitter-er like many of you, so this was a learning experience. My final post uses Black, which is my favorite glitter color. Maybe because glitter is happy and the color black typically isn't, so it seems like any oxymoron? I'm not sure. Anyhoo, visit my last post of Halloween birdhouses here. I've posted a little preview above.

Glitters in browns and autumn colors have my heart at the moment, but I am a sucker for glitter in pretty much any color. And so are my kids. Good thing my husband is a patient man and can handle a floor with a bit of sparkle to it. :0)

Maybe it's boring, but I love me some silver glitter. It's my favorite. Black is my least favorite because of some top hats my students wore in their 100 Years of Broadway show. That stuff got everywhere, and it was not attractive when you found it.

One can never have too much glitter! Especially when there is Mod Podge and a 4 yr old little girl involved in making projects. She wants to add glitter and use Mod Podge with every project now (I have created a pink glitter monster - lol!) Who doesn't want to add glitter and Mod Podge to everything :)

I love the rainbow-y, iridescenty glitters (for example, my nail tech just mixed a silver base glitter with the iridescent rainbow type glitter to do the tips of my nails. She rocks...)

While helping my friend make a magnificent glitter sign, she inadvertently made the coolest color glitter ever. By mixing the leftovers from the sign, she made a green/blue/teal mixture that is simply amazing!

I'm a big fan of the ultrafine pearleascent white satin or pearl colors. I know, kind of boring, but I use them to enhance "snow" areas on holiday cards to make them really pop off the page. With Christmas being my favorite holiday of the year (even over my birthday) how can the pearl or white satin colors go wrong?

I like most colors depending on what I'm doing. However, I just picked up black for Halloween and love the effect and I'm always up for "Dazzling Diamonds" which just adds to anything!

All that Glitter's is great but i do love to use a prism glitter. It picks up whatever colour you stick it too!
