Cool photos and a giveaway.

Hi there! It's Memorial Day weekend, and I hope you are relaxing. I wanted to share a little tip with you on inspiration, which most of you probably already know about - Flickr. I love the site and have an account (there's a Mod Podge Rocks Flickr group too). I browse photos frequently for inspiration; I love photography and the colors/themes that people capture. Mostly I just love creativity in general. Let me share a few photos with you that I fancy; click on the picture to be sent to the source and get the credit info.

It's funny how other people's photos can tell your own story.

On that note, the giveaway. Here are the rules.
1. Comment on THIS blog entry. You can say anything you want, but I would love for you to share a favorite photo from Flickr or from your own blog. Leave a link!
2. Only one entry per person.
3. Contest will close this Wednesday, June 2nd at midnight (EST).
4. PLEASE leave your e-mail address if it's not attached in Blogger - I need some way to reach you.
5. Remember that for the month of May I'm choosing five winners every week!

Last week's winners were Creations by JEllen, Crafty Batches, Marija, Stefanie and Leah.

  8. I just love Bakerella's (http://www.flickr.com/photos/bakerella/) photos! Not only does everything look so yummy, but she inspires me to create just by looking at her pics!

P.S. I really enjoy looking at photo collections FROM flikr.... Everyone's pictures are so different and interesting and inviting..... They usually inspire me to create something like what I saw!

For example... The 'sewn leaves' that you posted from flikr, I want to recreate something like that. Panting.... Or mod podge some leaves.... Or take pictures, cut out, mod podge them on a painting of my own....

    I love mod podge!

P.S. I mod podged an old, ugly samsonite suitcase once! I've been mod podging ever since!!!!!
