Cardmaking with Torendi and another giveaway.

Yay! I'm working with these fabulous people every Friday for the month of March:

I discovered Torendi after posting a few projects from their designers (like Tiffany's here and Kelly Marie's here) and I've been in love with their stuff ever since. Torendi has a fabulous store with unique products you can't get anywhere else. I like that. The designers use Mod Podge, so they like me too. In our mutual love affair, we decided to work together. Here are the fruits of my labor.

I have a confession. I didn't think I could card my way out of a paper bag. I buy funny, goofy cards with pugs for people, but I don't make my own. That has changed, folks! This card was so very fun to make, even the rounded corners. I was so very nervous about the rounded corners. I'm already pumped about next week's post - already prepared to raise the bar and impress you with my card making "skillz."

Supplies
Cardstock: Halcraft (natural), Cosmo Cricket (Earth Love 6 x 6), American Crafts
Punch: Martha Stewart Butterfly
Die Cutter: Sizzix Big Shot, Flower Layers Die
Accents: Rhinestones (Michaels) Pop Dots and Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
Letters: Making Memories cork, self-adhesive
Scissors: Scalloped for rounding corners (Michaels)
Adhesive: Glue Dots

Note that Mod Podge Dimensional Magic will be available from stores in April. It's a lot like Diamond Glaze, and as purveyor of this Mod Podge blog, I have been lucky enough to receive an advanced test sample for your preview pleasure!

So now, the giveaway to celebrate guest posting with Torendi:

A Mod Podge Starter Pack to one lucky winner. The giveaway rules are very easy:
1. I'm giving away one starter pack every Friday for the month of March when I post my Torendi card (this is in addition to my typical Sunday giveaway).
2. You must be a US resident, one entry per person.
3. Comment on this blog entry. This week, take a peek at the Torendi store and tell me what you love!
4. Contest ends tomorrow night, 3/6, at midnight EST.

BONUS - at the end of this gig, on March 26th, Torendi is giving one of their fab fabrics away to a lucky person who has left a comment on a Friday during the month.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm now going off on a card making bender.

I looked at the Torendi store. Very cool place. I liked the KITS and am thinking I may be signing up for the 6-month subscription at $20 ea. That is so affordable and it would be fun to get a new pack each month. Thanks for the link!
