You've known me long enough now to know that when I get invited to an ornament party for Christmas, it may involve the color blue and polka dots. Kristin from Write It Down is the hostess of the party I'm referring to:

Visit her now to see the other ornaments and follow along. My tutorial for the pink and blue ornie above is is right here. Who doesn't love a great ornament idea?
Speaking of ornaments . . . the Amy's are hosting an ornament party! Amy from Things We Make and yours truly are giving away great prizes for your recycled or repurposed trash turned into an ornament treasure. All you need to submit to win is a picture - head here for more information. I expect to see a lot of Mod Podge . . . Podgers!

ReplyDeleteIn the mean time come on by and see the Anthropologie inspired tree topper I mod podged to glory.

ReplyDeleteThis is soo fun! It has become a family project with my DD and mom!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great post on making these star ornaments! I was looking for something simple & fun to make for my family this year, and this was perfect! I found an old, beat-up Peanuts Christmas book at a thrift shop & some nice Martha Stewart Christmas scrapbook paper (40% off coupon at Michael's!) and started painting, tracing, Mod Podgin', and in no time... I had a batch of great ornaments to send home this year. Check out my Flickr set to see my ornaments:
