My bloggy friend Abbie lives in New York, so you know what that means. Small space. Possibly small enough to Mod Podge everything with one 8 oz. jar and still have some left over. Abbie has been so kind enough to share pictures of her fantastic apartment decorating with us. I bring you a plastic storage bin from her master suite, and she Mod Podged paper into the drawers to dress it up a bit. Boring turns non-boring! Go here for more pictures of the master suite and to see Abbie's amazing view. If you never saw Abbie's children's room, it's worth a visit - I featured her before.

Boring plastic mini storage drawers turned cool.

What a cool idea!!
*hugs*Deb
What an AWESOME idea! I use those drawers for my crafty things! I will HAVE to dress those puppies up!
Amy, I love your guts! Thank you for showing more of my stuff! You ROCK!!!
It's ironic that you posted this today because I came to this site looking for help on a project I'm working on. I'm new to mod dodge so please humor me a bit. I want to mod podge some scrapbook paper onto a plastic container, similar to Abby's. My question is, so I need to sand the plastic first or will it adhere to the smooth plastic?
Hey Brenna - you are fine to Mod Podge directly to plastic. It works great!
Oooooh... pretty! I keep thinking that I should put some drawers in my kitchen/dining room for kid's crafting supplies, but didn't want the eyesore. This looks much better though!
This is actually a project I'm wanting to do, and one of the reasons I picked up mod podge! I bought a bright pink plastic drawer over at Goodwill to store craft items, and I want to dress it up with some scrap book paper!

I'm trying to do this with my own storage boxes, which are also curved in front. However, the paper rips at the curves or will not stick to them at all. How do I go over the curves so that they're covered and the pattern remains consistent?
