I like everything to be convenient - yep, I'm one of THOSE people. Crafts are an area where it takes some effort to pull everything together, so sometimes I think it's nice to have to the work done for me. I was so tickled when I recently stumbled upon the site Gauche Alchemy and found that have fabulous mixed media kits. Their kits pull all sorts of goodies together in a package, so I ordered one straightaway. I went through my pile of crafting junk (ie., stash) and found this old thing that needed a new life:

Spatter-painted celestial frame + Gauche Alchemy kit + cork = yay!!

I also wanted to try a fun little collage, and this project enabled me to get my feet wet. I didn't even have to think about what to collage - it was all there for me.
